"But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." - Matthew 4:4 Jesus, Our Example In every Christians walk they come to the place where there has to be a decision made. A decision not only that says that I believe that Jesus died on the Cross for my sin but a decision that says I will lose my life and live his life only.

We have to let go of this life in order to live Christs life. Christ lived in purpose. He moved and lived in the truth. He didn't just know truth he was the truth and showed us the way we must live and walk which is after the same purpose as he did. Christ lived to do the will of the Father. His mission was to set the captives free at whatever cost. Christ moved in love and compassion and for our sake he exposed the darkness to allow the light to shine. Christ is the Way, The Truth and the Life. Christ is our example. He was on a mission and many misunderstood him or was clueless as to what he was after.

"He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not." - John 1:10‭-‬11 They could not tell who he was nor did they understand why he did the things he did. Many were not willing to lose their lives to see the awesome amazing plan of God revealed.

"For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it." - Matthew 16:25 We have to allow Christ Jesus to frame our minds. We have to think like Christ. It will be totally different from the world and even the religious at times but Christ has greater promises awaiting. Will you lose your life?

Prayer:

Dear Jesus, rewire us. Help us to let go of the things that we have been using to sustain life and let God be our only source of Life. Jesus, you are the only true life giver. Rewire our thinking let us not live according to our senses and emotions but according to every word that proceeds out of your mouth. That we won't just know it but we will believe it. And we will know when we believe it because we see your truth operating in every area of our lives. We need a hunger and revival in our hearts. A hunger to cry after you and know the word of God to live, love, follow and become. Purge us Lord and make us true believers that produces your life.
